A Plateau of the Filzenalpe is at the same time a gate to the 372-km2 mountain natural park of the Zillertal Alps. The most famous mountain trails are the Ahornspitze, the Filzenkogel, the Edel Hut / Edelhuette and the Aschaffenburger High Route / Aschaffenburger Hoehenweg.
You are welcome to have some rest and enjoy local meal at 10 on-mountain huts. The Filzenalm is for instance already 200 years old.
